RECEPTIONISTS
The receptionists are here to help you. To ensure that they can assist you as efficiently as possible, they may need to ask for further details or check information in your medical records when you telephone the Surgery.They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses. Please appreciate that receptionists are not qualified to discuss your clinical care but they will do their best to point you in the right direction. Please show the same courtesy to them as with all members of the team.
Our team of dedicated and helpful receptionists is led by our Senior Receptionists Nancy Cheetham and Patricia Dickinson. The receptionists are here to help you, but their job is very demanding. They answer the telephone and deal with emergencies from all directions - often many at the same time! Please be a patient patient. You will be asked for some information which will help them to help you with your particular need. All staff have signed up to a Code of Confidentiality in their contracts, and are required to respect any information you give them with utmost discretion and confidentiality.
